Flightless is an ongoing photographic project that explores the ideas around the physical and environmental impact of increasing

road traffic on the natural world. Birds killed by vehicles and found by the roadside are cleansed, posed and photographed prior to burial. The intention is to ‘hold’ each bird photographically, as if it is sleeping.
