Antigone’s Dust

The Chalk Dust Machine generates dust storms in a vitrine by responding to the presence of a visitor. It alludes to the moment at which the controversial Greek tragedy heroine Antigone is concealed in a pillar of dust. This work is complemented by a participatory workshop, an immersive theatre performance and a re-enactment video.
